Part Time Lecturer required in:
Bricklaying Apprenticeship (Truro)
Hourly rate will be based on a band in the range of
£28.93 – £37.38 per hour
We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and a TEF Gold provider. Our current Construction provision consists of full time courses and apprenticeships from entry level to advanced in the majority of trade areas including: Painting and Decorating, Maintenance Operations, Bricklaying, Plastering, Architectural Joinery & Site Carpentry.
The successful candidate will be teaching and delivering the Bricklaying Apprenticeship at Level 2 which is taught over 2 days (Thursday and Friday) and would be approx. 14 hours per week. Delivery will include both practical and theory sessions covering a range of elements, such as, solid walling, cavity construction, decorative detailing, types of insulation and health and safety in the industry.
Please detail any subjects that you are qualified and experienced in delivering, and to what level. Applicants should be well qualified in the subject area and ideally have a relevant teaching qualification although there may be opportunities for those wishing to move into teaching as a change in career direction.
