HPL Lecturer in Creative Media

£33.69 per hour (including Holiday Pay) – Tutor Rate

£28.44 per hour (including Holiday Pay) – Teaching Rate

£21.78 per hour (including Holiday Pay) – Additional Duties Rates

24 Hours/week, Fixed Term (July 2021)

United Colleges Group, formed in 2017, has continued to provide strong education and skills support to the c16,000 learners who we serve every year. We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for an HPL Lecturer in Creative Media to join our cohort of dedicated staff.

The Faculties of Creative Industries and A-Levels have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Creative Media. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.

The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current UAL, and the A level (WJEC) curriculum and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory

You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.

You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment. Excellent communication, administration, and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.

We are fully committed to our Media provision and have dedicated areas including a fully equipped Television Studio. We also have a dedicated Mac suite with Industry standard software (Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Premier-Pro).
