IT TRAINER

Location: Paddington Green and Willesden Campuses


The Role:

Our Business Development Department is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of provision, including Apprenticeships, Employment and Skills Provision including English for Work, Short Training courses and adult education programmes. We now need someone to join our Business Development Team to teach employment and skills in Information and Technology, IT and actively participate in the activities of the course/programme teams.

This opportunity is open to suitable qualified and experienced lectures/trainers to plan, deliver and assess the knowledge and competence elements of Health and Social Care Qualifications to employed candidates as well as teaching across a range of provision including Sector Based Work Academies.

The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area, have occupational experience and hold a TAQA (Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance) Assessors Qualifications. We encourage applications from trainers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory. You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential. You will also possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment. Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.
