We are seeking a pro-active and well-organised individual to fill this rewarding role. You would work closely with students, their parents, Lecturers and other College staff, working in a proactive way to ensure students attend College regularly and achieve their learning goals.

Responsibilities include identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record. You would take a pro-active role, including engaging ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone. You would also maintain College systems, produce reports on different groups, discuss students’ progress with teaching staff and arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience in a busy environment with good IT skills; experience of the education sector would be an advantage. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and enthusiasm for working with young people. You must be able to start work at 8.30am each day. You will be working 26 hours per week across 4 or 5 days per week,  39 weeks a year (to cover term times).
