Our School of Engineering: Technology and Innovation, based at Uxbridge Campus, offers a range of programmes. Working in collaboration with local and national employers, we successfully prepare learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our successful team as a part time Lecturer working 28.8 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.   

You would teach across a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 5 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including EAL/ BTEC Foundation, Diplomas, Extended Diplomas and Higher National Certificates and Diplomas in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.

We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate the following:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related area

• Teaching or training experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Able to deliver a range of technical subjects in Electrical/ Electronic, Control and Computer Engineering – e.g. embedded systems, programming (C, Java, Python, SQL), data and telecommunications, networks, PLCs and control systems 

• Ability to engage and inspire learners aged 16-18+

We will support you to develop your career in teaching, including fully funding the Level 5 teacher training qualification if you do not already possess this.
