The purpose of the post is: To provide operational leadership for the College's Careers, Employability and Work Experience provision, ensuring students develop the skills, knowledge, experiences and aspirations required to progress successfully into employment, apprenticeships, higher education and other positive destinations.
To lead and manage the Careers Team, including Careers Advisors and the Careers Administrator, whilst providing strategic oversight and support to Employability Coaches to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality careers education, employability and work experience programmes across the College.
To lead the development, implementation and quality assurance of the College's careers, employability and work experience strategy, ensuring alignment with Gatsby Benchmarks, Matrix Standards, Ofsted expectations and College strategic priorities.
To develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers, industry professionals, higher education providers and external organisations, creating meaningful opportunities that enhance student employability, industry awareness and progression outcomes.
