Principal's Welcome

Westminster Kingsway College (WKC) is one of the largest Further Education colleges, in London, with four stunning centres located in the heart of the city in King’s Cross, Regent’s Park, Victoria and  Soho.

Our 14,000 students, of all ages, come mainly from London, but many travel further afield across the South East and abroad in order to study on our acclaimed vocational and academic course that are respected by industry and employers.

They chose to study with us because of our impressive results, which include:

  • A strong success rate
  • The Queen’s Anniversary Award for our contribution to Culinary Arts and Hospitality
  • Silver medal in World Skills UK for Digital Media
  • Shortlisted for the TES Awards for Innovative Teaching and Learning
  • Two new centres for students with learning difficulties in Westminster and Camden
  • 10th in the country for Student Satisfaction.

The 2016 Ofsted inspection that rated teaching and learning as consistently ‘Good’ and our student achievements rates continue to be very high. We are delighted that WKC was ranked as the best college in London for student satisfaction (FE Week magazine) and students say they find the college ’welcoming, safe and caring with strong academic and personal support.’

We hope you will decide to choose to study with us and look forward to receiving your application.

Whatever your age, whatever your ambitions, I am confident that Westminster Kingsway can help you in achieving your aspirations.

Kim Caplin, Principal
