Job Title: Senior Administrator

Actual Annual Salary: £20,108 - £21,677 Based on hours and weeks worked.

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £28,859 - £31,111 (CLF Grade C) Based on Full Time, All Year Round

Contract Type: Fixed-Term

Contract Length: Fixed until 31 August 2026 or return of the substantive postholder

Hours: Part time, 29.5 hours per week, Term Time Only + INSETS & 4 additional work days during school closure period.

Working Pattern:  Monday 8am-4pm, Tuesday 8am-4pm, Wednesday Non-Working day, Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm

(Non-Working Day can be another day if required and we are also open for the hours being worked across 5 days)

Provisional Start Date: December 2025

The Senior Administrator will provide high quality administrative, clerical and organisational support to the academy. Within the scope of the role, they will work proactively to find solutions where required. At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the academy.

About you:

You will have:

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a varied and busy workload and conflicting priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit a range of audiences and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within an educational or similar environment, with a track record of delivering high-quality support and bespoke resources.
  • Confidence in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and education-specific platforms such as SIMS, with strong data handling and reporting capabilities.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, able to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to deliver effective solutions.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development, with a caring and empathetic attitude and a passion for supporting children and young people.
