In a world where skilled engineering professionals are in high demand, there’s a growing need for experienced engineers to consider a shift in their careers toward teaching.

Does the thought of passing your knowledge to younger generations excite you? Are you passionate about inspiring students for success beyond expectation?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Engineering to join our supportive team. You will play a key role in helping our students build essential skills, gain qualifications, and progress in their academic journey.

We would welcome applications from individuals with experience of any of the following specialisms – manufacturing engineering, CNC, milling & turning, design engineering, linked to extolling departmental curriculum flexibility.

You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, GCSE in English and Maths as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards.

Whatever your rationale, this role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference. We are continuing to develop our college curriculum and want enthusiastic, industry experienced and committed individuals to help us achieve our goals.

The Teach in Further Education government initiative gives you the chance of qualifying to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, plus a pre-service bursary while completing an approved FE initial teacher education qualification.
