About

Founded in 2017 as part of a merger between Warrington Collegiate and Mid Cheshire College, Warrington & Vale Royal College is a large, successful further education college committed to serving the people of Warrington, Northwich, Winsford and the surrounding areas.

Operating across two main campuses, we offer a wide range of vocational and technical courses for both school leavers and adults, including T Levels, apprenticeships, higher level, and professional courses. Situated in Warrington and Winsford, our campuses boast modern facilities and cutting-edge resources that are specifically designed to enhance the learning experience of our students.

In October 2019 the college was officially commended as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and we celebrated some of the highest pass rates in England, ranking us in the top 10 nationally for the third consecutive year.

Our planet is our key priority. We are committed to raising awareness of and implementing sustainable practices in all aspects of college life.

We are committed to continuously improving our sustainability approach, through the promotion of environmental awareness and responsibility, and embedding sustainability principles across the college. Sustainability leads are appointed within our governor and leadership teams to ensure that this remains a key focus. We have a green campus where we maintain and monitor the trees and species that we share it with, taking these into consideration in everything that we do.
