An exciting opportunity has arisen within Quantum Advisory for an Accounts Apprentice to join their existing finance team.

This main purpose of this role will be assisting with pensioner payroll, cashbooks and payments. Assistance in company accounting tasks such as billing, posting supplier invoices and staff expenses.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Complete daily client cashbooks, cashflows and payments as specified.
• Provide support to the finance team and Financial Controller
• Assist with accurate processing of pensioner payrolls ensuring HMRC compliance, and authorisation.
• Conduct a variety of daily operations accurately and in a timely manner including bank reconciliations, invoicing, billing analysis, etc.
• Responsible for managing scanning of files in a timely fashion.
• Represent the Firm externally to client’s, potential clients, auditors and pensioners.
• Record and retain data in accordance with the business procedures and specifically in line with the “Compliance Procedures Manual” and data protection legislation requirements.
• Undertake all required training to develop relevant personal knowledge, capability and skills.
• Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable an effective service

The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum Grade C in GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. He/she will have a proactive approach with good organisation skills and work with great attention to detail.

Training provided
AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting, Level 2 or Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3.
