We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Manager to provide a broad range of financial support services liaising closely with the Board of Trustees and as a member of the Senior Management Team and Operational Management Team.

You will be responsible for preparing the statutory and management accounts with an emphasis on the development and review of good management accounting practice. Duties will include compiling monthly management accounts for the Senior Management Team and project staff, and quarterly for the Board, as well as supervising the operation of a the finance office.

You will work with our projects and support the Project Coordinators to profile and re-profile budgets in the light of planned and actual expenditure patterns. In addition, you will be involved in the production of Vision 21’s annual budget and will investigate and highlight any areas of concerns regarding budgetary control.

You will be in possession of, or making significant progress towards, a recognised professional accountancy qualification ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent, have experience in a similar level role, have a detailed understanding of statutory responsibilities and accounting standards as well as excellent communication skills.
