We are looking to recruit 2 part-time Tutor Co-ordinators to the following positions:English and ESOL Tutor Co-ordinator (part time, 18 hours per week)Responsible for developing, delivering and co-ordinating high quality teaching, learning and assessment within our English, Maths and ESOL team and our open learning centres throughout the borough. You will need to be qualified to teach and have good experience of teaching English and/or ESOL and an eagerness to support learners to achieve and progress and tutors to excel in their practice.Maths and e-learning Tutor Co-ordinator (part-time, 18 hours per week)Responsible for developing, delivering and co-ordinating high quality teaching, learning and assessment within our English, Maths and ESOL team and our open learning centres throughout the borough. You will need to be qualified to teach and have good experience of teaching maths, strong e-learning expertise, and an eagerness to support learners to achieve and progress and tutors to excel in their practice.You will be responsible to the Curriculum Manager for that curriculum area for all operational and quality performance responsibilities.About the personYou will have a strong track record of working with diverse groups of learners, with varying levels and needs. You must also have a clear understanding of strategies for raising performance and be passionate about driving improvement.We are looking for individuals who are dynamic, motivated, and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You must be learner-centred, possess a “can-do” attitude, and strong organisational and teaching skills. You will ideally have experience in internal verification however, this is not essential. These posts require some evening work and occasional weekend work. A full, clean Driving Licence and use of own vehicle at all times is essential for these roles.
