We are looking for a lecturer to join our enthusiastic colleagues in our Construction Crafts team.The successful candidate will be primarily teaching across a range of units on the level 3 Construction and Built Environment courses and ideally carpentry and joinery and/or maintenance operations programmes within the curriculum area. The qualifications, skills and experience to deliver on a craft based programme, preferably carpentry and joinery, would be an advantage. You will need to be a highly motivated team player and have the skills, drive and enthusiasm to deliver and maintain the highest standards on the courses. The successful candidate will need to have a high level of knowledge and good experience of their trade. You will be committed to developing learners’ skills and technical understanding. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be given. An assessor award is also desirable.Applications will be considered as they are received.
