Newbury College is seeking a Trainer/Assessor to join our Catering team. The Catering provision launched in 2012 /13 and is an area of growth for the College. We currently run Level 1 and 2 full-time and Level 2 apprentices from our exceptionally high standard restaurant and kitchen. Our flexible approach allows us to work with local business for special events and expose the students to industry. We are looking for a Trainer Assessor Technician to work alongside our Chef Lecturer and Restaurant Coordinator to support classes within the kitchen and in the commercial restaurant service. The successful candidate should have a full understanding of the qualifications we offer and have both industry and trainer/assessing experience. You should be organised, have high standards and have a proactive and creative mind-set to support the team in growing the department. Ideally we are looking for a qualified teacher and assessor, however we would consider sponsoring the right applicant through the Level 3 or 4 Award in Education and Training. We require candidates to have a full, clean driving license with either a D1 or a willingness to undertake the College minibus driving assessment.Pay rates for this role are £21.53 per hour teaching and £12.82 per hour for assessing.If you have any quereis about this role please speak to HR Department.
