Working 20 hours per week.a) Responsible for the day-to-day organisation and operation of the Food service area, including ordering, deliveries, storage and security in line with College requirements and procedures.b) Security and control of all stock, including maintenance of stock levels and security of stock.c) Oversee staff when working in the commercial Food service areas, d) Day to day operation of the food service area, including serving customers, taking cash, dealing with complaints and making operational decisions in line with the food services requirements. e) Liaison with Catering Services Manager in supervising the day to day requirements, in line with the food service operation.f) Responsible for the co-ordination of students while on work placement in the food service areasg) To meet deadlines and targets as required by the food service area.h) To maintain and conform to standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with current legislation.i) To ensure that the highest standards of customer/supplier relations are maintained and that “customer” needs are met during agreed specified times.j) To attend team meetings as required.k) To comply with all relevant policies and procedures.l) To attend training courses as required and any other related duty as required.
