Based across the county on 4 main campuses, the College offers an extensive range of courses at all levels and has ambitious plans for growth in a region with exciting potential.We are currently seeking a Construction Apprenticeships Manager to join our Trowbridge campus. The main purpose of this role is to lead and manage the continued growth of the provision and develop consistent quality of delivery so that it meets the expectations of our customers (employers and their learners), Awarding Organisations, and Ofsted.Within this role your main responsibilities will include supporting the Business Development Team and Assessors, either securing repeat or new apprenticeship or NVQ only business, providing advice and guidance to employers and their learners about the apprenticeship offer. In addition, you will support the Head of Department, clearly focussing in working closely with your assessors to ensure their assessment practice is both effective and efficient, and they meet our required quality standards.The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, or had extensive experience of managing construction or apprenticeship provision within a college or training provider environment. You will have a strong working knowledge of apprenticeship delivery within the Construction or Building Services sectors and will have a good standard of general education and hold an Assessors Award, and Verification Award (or willing to work towards one).
