About the role
We are looking for a Lecturer in Multi Skills with Brick to join our Sustainable Technologies team.

As a Lecturer in Multi Skills with Brick , you will work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated learning programme ensuring that students receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success.

This post involves teaching Multi Skills to students of all abilities and ages and will require experience in teaching or training to be able to teach on a range of courses, relevant to the curriculum area. You will teach both at our Tonbridge and Ashford campus. At the Ashford campus you will teach theory at our new Elwick Road campus, and practical at our Jemmett Road campus.

The ideal candidate will have a Teaching Qualification, e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent, as well as an Assessors award, or the desire to achieve both. It is essential to have a Level 3 vocational qualification in Brick or Carpentry, relevant industrial and/or commercial experience. We are looking for applicants with Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications, or a willingness to achieve them.

On top of this, the College offers financial support when you complete Initial Teacher Training course via West Kent and Ashford College. You will receive £600 at the end of your first year of employment at the College as a fully qualified teacher and £750 at the end of the second year of employment.
