About the role:
Are you passionate about improving students lives? We at West London College are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our Additional Learning Support (ALS) department in delivering an excellent service.
Our learners are at the heart of our College, and we endeavour to ensure all learners are given the opportunity to progress and succeed. You will be supporting both the pastoral care and academic development of our learners; this includes students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs
You will be a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic individual who will support our students that require additional help with their programmes of study. By creating positive relationships with our learners and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting, you will positively affect our learners and their studies. You will be able to help those learners to develop independent learning and study skills as well as emotional resilience and responsiveness to new situations, conditions and circumstances which will equip them with the potential to move into work or further study,
