Additional Support Assistants (2 x 18.5 hrs posts - Term Time) - Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone
Coleg Gwent is looking to appoint two inspiring Additional Support Assistants to help learners with additional learning needs to access the curriculum at Coleg Gwent.
Applicants should have previous experience supporting learners and be educated to Level 2 standard in either Care or Additional Learning Support, with four GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or above.
The successful candidate will be required to support Independent Living Skills (ILS) learners on a 1:1 or group basis, working closely with the curriculum and campus support teams to ensure the learners meet their full potential.
You will be expected to maintain accurate records; experience of setting targets and reviewing progress is desirable as is an awareness of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and GDPR.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
