Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West & South East of England and is now seeking to recruit a reliable and committed part time MIS Co-ordinator to support the function of the education department at HMP Ford.
This role is for 18.5 hours per week.
The Management Information Systems Co-Ordinator provides administrative and secretarial support to the education provision and must be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and the ability to work within an often pressurised environment.
The role will support the curriculum management team and tutors in the everyday running of the department including to develop and maintain an efficient and effective administrative office to support the work of the Prison Education Framework (PEF) team and to administer the processing and handling of student data in order to produce accurate and valid individualised learner record returns.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within an administrative environment and be a very competent IT user. Experience working in an education setting would be beneficial.
