Agricultural Estates Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Grounds team as an Agricultural Estates Assistant. The BCA Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and development of our Agricultural, Equestrian, Horticultural, Arboricultural and Sports Facilities, set in 400 acres of registered parkland.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in an agricultural setting using a range of practical skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake daily maintenance, repair and project work within the estate, gardens and grounds. They should be familiar with the operation of a range of agricultural, grounds and construction machinery, including tractors with various grass and cultivation implements, telehandler, excavator, mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters and knapsack sprayers. Other duties will include the repair of field boundaries, assisting with tree and construction work as well as general Grounds duties.
