We are seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and collaborative ALNCO to join an established, strong Wellbeing and Inclusion Team. You will need to be an inspirational leader and outstanding teacher.
Inclusion and wellbeing is at the heart of all our work with our pupils at Porth Community School.
The successful candidate, will have the skills, drive and resilience to develop and lead a strong SEN provision across the school, that allows all our pupils to thrive. The school is well resourced and supported
by a dedicated team of staff.
The role is a multi-faceted role to support those pupils with SEN needs, including pupils within the specialist Local Authority Support classes, to accelerate their progress and raise standards.
You need to be able to develop positive relationships with pupils and families to encourage engagement and trust as well as working closely with the Local Authority.
The successful candidate will implement and embed the new Additional Learning Needs (ALN) bill.
