Animal Husbandry Technician
The College is
seeking to appoint an Animal Husbandry Technician to contribute to the College’s
zoo licensed and BIAZA accredited Animal Management Centre.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and husbandry of the
animals housed across the AMC. The AMC houses over 100 different species of
animal ranging from small mammals to invertebrates.
The key responsibilities of the role are developing and maintaining high
standards of husbandry and animal welfare across the centre.
As an Animal
Husbandry Technician you will be expected to possess a willingness to learn
about, and then put into practise, the evolving husbandry management of a
modern day animal collection.
The role would
provide an ideal opportunity for someone who has just completed a Level 3
animal qualification and would like to get their foot in the door of the
