New City College is the dynamic group of further education colleges in East London which comprises Tower Hamlets College, Hackney Community College, Epping Forest College and, Redbridge College. £24,161 - £39,588 per annum (full time equivalent)
We are looking for experienced and innovative Lecturers in Graphics and Art & Design who are committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching. Wider experience of Media teaching is useful but not essential. You will have experience teaching from Foundation level up to Level 5; ideally have experience of teaching on the BTEC Higher National Diplomas, UAL qualifications at all levels and Apple Mac computers.
Your enthusiasm will encourage students to achieve their maximum potential, and promote in students recognition of the significance of English and Mathematics. You will have a positive attitude to working in this sector as you will experience working with an established, committed team which is determined to raise standards.
Good communication skills, and a commitment to equal opportunities is essential for this post.
It is essential that all applicants have a minimum Level 5 Teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this. Applicants will have a relevant creative degree.
