We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assessor/IV to support the delivery of Apprenticeship Engineering qualifications in the West Midlands Area.
In this role you will be responsible for maximising the achievement of learners through learning and assessment activities. You will be expected to support learners through the full Apprenticeship diploma, including the delivery of functional skills. You will be responsible for ensuring learner and employer needs and expectations are met.
You must hold an Assessors Award (A1 or equivalent,) and a minimum Level 3 qualification in PCV/HGV mechanical engineering. An Internal Verifier Award (V1 or equivalent) would be desirable. You will also have Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy, or be willing to work towards them. You must also have experience of working in PCV/HGV mechanical engineering environment.
The successful candidate will have a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
Coventry College has two campuses (Henley Campus and City Campus), you must therefore be able to travel between sites.
