Heathermount School provides an all-round education to meets the needs of students from the ages of 4-19 who have SEND with a primary diagnosis of Autism. Heathermount is a day school owned by The Disabilities Trust; we are well resourced and have excellent facilities set in 14 acres of land. Classes are small and staff training is comprehensive. We work hard with our students and parents, but the rewards are tremendous if you are motivated by improving the life chances of young people and to have a positive impact on family life.
We want to add capacity to our senior team by recruiting an innovative, flexible and passionate practitioner who has a good understanding of secondary and post 16 phases. You will have in your heart the desire to equip our young people with the skills and knowledge to live safe, fulfilled and successful lives. For us the right personality and an ability to connect with our young people is key and absolutely essential.
