Enstruct Training Ltd have two vacancies for Assistant Instructors to join the team.
The roles are heavily focused on face to face and hands on support to the young people who access our alternative provisions of Outdoor Learning or Construction. Support to internal colleagues in preparation for sessions and targeting short, mid and long term educational and social goals are also crucial to the role and development of our young people.
Our young people enrol on our programmes referred from schools and colleges in Leicestershire to complement their mainstream education, provide respite from formal studies and or act as a positive reintegration and engagement tool with which they show interest within. The vast majority of our young people have additional learning and SEMH needs and
require bespoke methods and highly enthusiastic and engaging support. Our programmes provide an inclusive, alternative education which is more relevant and accessible to their needs.
Assistant Instructors need to have the ability to engage young people who have a limited connection with mainstream education. They will also need to demonstrate a genuine interest in the vocational areas of our teaching and preferably have practical experience and ability within them.
Although a background of working within education is preferred, for this post, formal qualifications are less important than the desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.
