We are looking for an Associate Lecturer with experience in Fluid Power to join a team of experienced Engineering and Technology Directorate on an hourly basis. The role will be based at James Watt College (Aldridge Rd, Birmingham B44 8NE).
The Directorate offers a range of Engineering Maintenance courses which include fluid power (pneumatics and hydraulics), alongside very successful apprenticeship programmes for leading national companies across the UK. The department has grown significantly with key focus areas around Food and Drink Automotive and Rail Maintenance Engineering.
The successful applicant is expected to have the knowledge and the skills to make a successful contribution to the delivery of these vocationally biased courses, with expectations to be able to teach a range of units on different apprentice driven qualifications at Level 2 and 3.
