Salary: £24,321 - £34,625 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Brickwork Lecturer to to join our friendly and professional Construction department.
In this exciting role you will have responsibility for delivering teaching and learning to our Brickwork apprenticeship students across levels 1 – 2.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the Construction team, you will have the chance to share your Brickwork industry knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor for Level 1&2 students, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area. You will also teach act as a course leader, complete quality assurance processes and assess students work.
The successful candidate must have:
•A full teaching qualification (such as a PGCE, DTTLS or Cert ED)
•A level 3 Brickwork qualification
•Experience delivering teaching with FE (and ideally to apprenticeship based students)
An Assessor qualification would also be advantageous.
