Applications are invited for the position of Care Assistant to work term time only (with an additional week for in-service training). Some shift work is involved.
St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
We are looking for a committed Care Assistant to support students in our residential setting and school/college. Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required, if you don’t already have this qualification you will need to commence and complete the course as soon as you join us.
