Croydon College has recently become the first Further Education institution to be a recipient of the Association for Citizenship Teaching Quality Standard for Further Education
This was awarded for the college’s commitment to providing outstanding citizenship education demonstrated through leadership and management, teaching and learning, staff and student development and enrichment.
We are looking for someone with previous experience of delivering training and working with challenging and vulnerable young people to join the Citizenship and Progression team.
You will utilise a range of strategies and activities for students in our energetic and busy Student Common Room, delivering tutorials, workshops, sports clubs and working formally and informally with students to promote personal development and citizenship.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.
You must have a Level 3 qualification and a teaching or training qualification would be an advantage.
