Salary: Teachers Main Pay Scale (SP1-SP12) – £25,543 per annum - £37,152 per annum, plus SEN (lower) allowance of £2,149 per annum is payable on appointment. The full SEN allowance of £4,242 per annum is payable following the acquisition of a post-graduate qualification in the field (supported by the school), the completion of two years in post at Arbour Vale or significant SEN experience.

Arbour Vale School is a generic special needs school and caters for pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties, PMLD, SLD, ASD and MLD. Abilities are wide ranging throughout the school.
We are seeking to recruit an ASD teacher who has drive, creativity and a passion for teaching and learning to join our dedicated and welcoming team. Experience of working with pupils with SEN is desirable but not essential. What is imperative is that you have high expectations, a sense of humour, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic children.
