Salary: £26,000 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week

Working as member of the education team you will play an active role in the planning and development of programs that address the individual needs of our pupils. With support and guidance from the Head of Education, you will work across all areas of our curriculum to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities to our pupils. You will be required to set out individual learning pathways which support our pupils’ potential to live more independently; developing academic, social and personal skills; whilst paying close attention to the development of meaningful accredited and non-accredited learning schemes for all who attend our school.
We are seeking to recruit a candidate with a proven track record in the delivery of specialist education to those children with SEMH/SEBD and/or Autism. You will be part of a wider organisation that currently has a further 4 independent specialist schools and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider group.
You will be expected to deliver the curriculum in an innovative and dynamic way; therefore, it would be an advantage to have sound knowledge of the teaching of a Basic Skills curriculum, and or experience of delivering this subject area to children of school age. You will have experience of working within an alternative school provision and possess sound knowledge of the relevant curriculum areas.
