Our student numbers are rapidly expanding and as a result, we are looking to appoint a teacher to deliver our highly individualised programmes of education on the Life Skills Pathway. Students within this Pathway are working towards the development of their day-to-day life skills including cooking, home management, shopping, travelling, developing communication and social skills and communication skills. Students also work to develop their functional literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. The students within Life Skills generally have Severe Learning Difficulties and/or Autism.
We would love to hear from teachers with experience of special education. What is important is the desire and motivation to make a difference to our students’ lives. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief.
