We are looking for talent from all supportive role backgrounds to join our Foundation Studies team. You don’t need to have experience of working in a formal education setting; we need the right people who will be committed to making a difference in our learners’ lives. You will help high needs students to achieve their targets relating to study, employment and life skills; your role will entail working both within the college and in community settings.
Community Coaches provide in-class and out-of-class support, helping high needs students realise their full potential by pursuing outcomes from their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will work alongside teachers in the Foundation team, the wider College and external community providers to ensure that students have a positive learning experience whilst working towards their long-term goals. Your focus will be on the progression each learner can make onto the next stage of their learning journey.
