Curriculum Manager – Animal Management & Science Department
(Full-time, Permanent)
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and dedicated individual to work closely with the Head of Department in developing provision within the Animal Management and Science Department increasing its reputation as a lead in promoting quality teaching and learning and academic excellence.
As a Curriculum Manager you will play an active role in the day to day management of the Animal Management Department with particular responsibility for a given team who you will line manage (as such demonstrable experience of line management is essential).
Alongside responsibilities for supporting and developing your team you will support, teach, course manage FE students, enhancing the learning experience of the individual and developing the potential of a diverse range of students.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that quality assurance processes are conducted on a regular basis and meet the required standards for the Department and the College, inclusive of liaising with internal and external stakeholders for example the Exams Team, Landex, Ofsted. You will need to therefore be confident in your understanding of the Department curriculum particularly at L3 and in relation to BTEC our current awarding body.
