Working across East Ham and Stratford Campuses we are looking for Hourly Paid Communicators for the Deaf to work alongside and support our deaf students
Working within the English, Speaks of Other Language, Community Education and Learner Support Directorate you will join an established provision for deaf and hard of hearing students. As a Communicator for the Deaf you will be required to provide access to the College curriculum for Deaf students and support students in various situations for example:- inductions, interviews, classrooms, examinations, etc.
You should have a CACDP/Signature British Sign Language level III or above.
Experience of working as a communicator in education and the certificate of communication support for deaf learners or equivalent are desirable.
