Where you’ll work: The role is based at the Dartford campus. However, the nature of the work will require travel to the Gravesend campus, and also to relevant external meetings, as and when needed.
Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.
Your pay: Tier 6 Spot – £21,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Kent College’s Dartford Nursery provision, Bright Beginnings, in the capacity of Deputy Nursery Manager.
The post holder will be required to assist with the management of the day nursery facility on the Dartford campus. With the Nursery Manager working across both the Dartford and Gravesend nurseries, the post holder of the Deputy Nursery Manager role will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery in the Nursery Manager’s absence, whilst maintaining regular communication to ensure that the Nursery Manager is kept fully informed.
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a recognised childcare qualification appropriate to the remit of the post, at least to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. You also must have experience of working within a day nursery at room leader level or above as well as staff supervision experience.
