Director of Corporate Services
Competitive remuneration package
Birmingham and Doncaster
The National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure (NCATI) has been established as a further education college to provide the higher-level skills needed to transform the UK rail and transport infrastructure network. The College is dedicated to providing the higher-level training required to create HS2 and other rail and infrastructure projects, as well as supporting the skills demand from employers across the transport industries.
The College opened in 2017 on state-of-the-art campuses in Birmingham and Doncaster but subsequently faced a series of challenges, both financial and educational. Following a government initiated process to secure the future of the College, it will become part of the University of Birmingham Group from 1st May 2021. This new partnership builds on the University of Birmingham’s railway engineering expertise and its commitment to industry partnerships and the regional skills agenda, and provides a platform for the College to become a highly successful and financially sustainable institution.
The College is now seeking to appoint the Director of Corporate Services who will work alongside a newly appointed Principal & Chief Executive.
The Director of Corporate Services will lead all corporate services, delivering a financially stable and sustainable organisation, ensuring the provision of efficient and effective services to the College and, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, will support the achievement of the College’s objectives and targets. Applicants will have a professional accountancy qualification and will bring experience of leading a portfolio of professional services that support outstanding organisational performance.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the College through the next phase of its development, working with the University of Birmingham, industry and educational partners to deliver outstanding results for learners nationally.
The closing date for applications is noon on Friday 5th February 2021.
