The Lighthouse Learning Trust, established in November 2017, is a partnership of two Sixth Form Academy Colleges in Hampshire – Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton and St Vincent College in Gosport. We have close to 2000 students and approximately 450 staff across the two College sites.
We are seeking a Director of Estates and Safety to take responsibility for the Estates and Facilities Management across our two College Academy sites. Reporting to the Finance Director, the post holder is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Trust’s estate, facilities and Health and Safety matters. They are also the Trust’s designated ‘Competent Person’ with regard to Health and Safety. Working in partnership with both Trust and local college leadership teams, the post holder will develop policy and strategy, continually review and improve systems, with the aim of ensuring a high quality, safe environment for both students and staff. They will also lead the continual development of the built environment in pursuit of the Trust’s vision and strategic objectives.
If you have proven experience of Estates Management, preferably within the education sector, sound knowledge of health and safety legislation as well as building services, excellent budget/contract management and communication skills, and a desire to provide excellent service to our college communities, then we would love to hear from you.
