We are looking to appoint a high calibre candidate and experienced leader to take up the role Director of External Funding and Projects. Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Development and Productivity, the post holder will ensure the College is equipped to meet the changing external landscape of education, increasing its reputation as one of the top colleges in the country. Since 2010, Ofsted has officially graded the College as ‘outstanding’.
The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the how education and business can successfully work together to increase productivity. They will also have an outstanding track record in winning and delivering substantial revenue and capital funding bids.
The College has an ambitious growth agenda in line with our vision of ‘transforming lives’ and we have successfully gained external capital funding over the last 12 months to invest in our industry leading facilities.
As an anchor institution within the Barnsley Borough and wider Sheffield City Region, we are central to the rebuilding process as we look to return to the new normal following the impact of the pandemic.
