NEWTEC is looking to employ enthusiastic and dedicated childcare practitioners to fill positions at our Cumberland Road Nursery. The ideal candidates will require a minimum of two years experience within an Early Years setting. Flexibility and a commitment to team work and building an innovative team is essential along with firm experience of planning for activities to meet the needs of children from diverse backgrounds. A sound understanding of Ofsted requirements and The Early Years Foundation Stage is required. Excellent communication skills are required to develop sound parental and staff relations demonstrating sensitivity and awareness to their individual needs. Building relationships to ensure continuity of care. Ability to devise innovative and creative activities to provide a programme schedule that will meet a vast spectrum of individual requirements inline with the EYFS. Experience of report writing with the ability to meet deadlines and excellent organisational skills working towards regulatory requirements and providing excellent and consistent quality of the provision. A good understanding of Early Years, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Every Child Matters, The Early Years Foundation Stage, National Standards, Planning/Observations, and local borough requirements are essential.The ideal candidate must be fully qualified with a minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years.
