A great opportunity has arisen at our forward thinking family run nursery in the Clifton/Cotham area of Bristol for somebody to lead our pre school team. You would be supported by an excellent and established team.
Woodland House Nursery is the Sister nursery to nearby Archfield House Nursery and is affiliated with the University of Bristol. It was established in 2009 and now provides care for families employed by Bristol University. We are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery and we continue to provide a quality care and learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
We are looking for a confident and experienced person with an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage to lead our proactive, motivated and passionate pre school team. This role requires a responsible, organised and enthusiastic practitioner who can support the team and ensure that all children are receiving a quality learning environment where they can reach their full potential.
We have access to an amazing 'Secret garden' adjacent to the nursery which is part of the homeopathic hospital grounds. We operate a thriving Forest School at our site at Ashton Court. We also regularly run a Beach School at Severn Beach which we access by train from Clifton Down train station. We passionately believe in the value and benefits of Outdoor Learning.
Ideally the successful applicant will be an experienced qualified Early Years teacher/Early Years Professional or hold QTS.
They will be qualified to at least level 3 or equivalent and possess a good working knowledge of leadership and staff management skills.
There is a possibility that this role could be part time for the right applicant.
Salary could be enhanced further if you have higher level qualifications.
