Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet) are currently recruiting for an
English and Maths Community Lecturer.
successful candidate will deliver and assess Functional Skills English and
Mathematics (from Entry 1 Level to Level 2) to adult learners within the
community and at Matthew Boulton College.
You may also
be asked to deliver to 16-19 year olds as part of their study programme. You will be expected to use innovative
methods of delivery and carry out initial assessment, track and record
learners’ progress and liaise with community venues and College management to ensure
all learners achieve.
to be successful in this role you must be able to teach both English and Maths
up to and including Level 2. You must also have an understanding of the
Functional Skills Reform.
