ESF Lecturer and Course Co-ordinator – ESF Employer Led Skills
£36,508 per annum

If you have a passion for designing, developing and delivering high quality education and training solutions, we want to hear from you. The post holder will work with academic and industry leads to develop, design and coordinate a programme of workforce development skills delivery for employees and apprentices within the sector. You will need to be an engaging and inspiring trainer, committed to engaging businesses and the development of innovative provision to that will respond to business needs and skills gaps to generate an appropriately qualified workforce.
Applicants should be educated to degree level with a recognised teaching qualification and have the ability to motivate students to realise their full potential. The ideal candidate/s would have an excellent understanding of the Experience Economy sector (Hospitality, Leisure, Hair and Beauty) and strong experience of working in this industry, which will be the focus for Truro and Penwith College’s delivery of the ESF Employer Led Skills (ELS) project.
Over the next 3 years, the £3.375 million ESF Employer Led Skills (ESL) project will offer practical, flexible and effective accredited, non-accredited and bespoke training to up and re-skill over 3,000 individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The consortium, led by Cornwall Marine Network and supported by eight delivery partners, will support employers to address identified skills gaps across a range of sectors, thanks to the financial support from the European Social Fund.
This post is part-funded by the European Social Fund until March 2023.
