Essential Skills Lecturer (Work-based Learning)
Salary £20,021 - £39,401 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic lecturer in Essential Skills to deliver high quality tuition and assessment to our work-based learning apprentices. You will be required to teach from entry level to level 3 in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy. You will also be required to travel to all of Coleg Gwent Campuses to deliver these qualifications on a regular basis. The successful candidate will assist in the development of resources for Essential Skills and support teaching on other skills programmes.
Experience in teaching within a further education / work-based learning environment, and a full teaching qualification are essential. You will also be expected to hold a degree in a relevant subject. Experience of delivering the new Essential Skills qualification but would highly desirable, but not essential. You will have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working as part of a team.
The ability to work evenings are essential for this post.
