RHACC is an adult learning college with a wide and vibrant range of courses for adults of all ages and abilities, enabling them to participate in learning for work, life and leisure. We have two sites, one in Richmond, and one in Surbiton, as well as The Bridge, a co-working space for local organisations based at the Parkshot site. Along with a thriving offer for personal and community development, the college also delivers provision for adults with learning disabilities, and a women-only residential programme in Surbiton. We also hire out facilities and run events at RHACC, underpinning the college's status as a community hub in Richmond.
We are looking for a part time Events and Hires Coordinator to organise and coordinate external hires and events, which provide an important stream of revenue for the College.
Duties will include:
Coordinating arrangements for external hirers.
Occasional planning and organising of events.
Organising networking and other events to take place in the co-working space.
Generally adding value to the day to day running of the co-working facility.
This is a fast-paced role, so strong administration and time management skills are essential.
The successful candidate should have a level 2 in English or Maths (or equivalent), previous experience coordinating internal and external hires or events, experience of customer service, effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. If successful you will join a small team in a job-share capacity, working the last two days the week (Thursday and Friday). Occasional ‘out of hours’ work (evenings and weekends) will also be involved and recognised through a ‘time off in lieu’ system.
