Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and suitably qualified teachers for the post of Executive Headteacher of Trinity Fields School and Resource Centre. The school is a highly respected all age special school encompassing main site and off-site provision within seven infant, primary and secondary schools across Caerphilly County Borough Council and support for inclusion for ALN pupils in mainstream schools. The Headteacher also line manages the Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service and the leisure services provision on Saturdays and in school holidays in partnership with Social Care. We have held awards for many years for Rights Respecting Schools, Investors in Families, Healthy Schools, we have the IQM Inclusive School award with flagship status and have platinum award status as an Eco school.
Estyn judged our school as being “Excellent” across all five inspection areas in June 2019.

9. A strong commitment to work closely with staff, governors, parents/carers, local authority officers, health, social care and other school colleagues and the local and wider community.
This is a very exciting time for the school as we continue to develop formal partnerships with the local authority and with specialist resource bases and follow through with plans to build a multimillion-pound extension on the main site to meet the unprecedented demand from parents and carers for places for their children at Trinity Fields.
The Governors will provide good support for the successful candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to working closely with them to provide high quality leadership and the best possible education for our children. The Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Headteacher who would be able to work alongside the current Headteacher at key times for at least six months so that the transition would build on the highly successful structures and partnerships that are already in place,

Shortlisting will take place on Wednesday October 19th.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday November 8th and 9th.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit the school on Monday October 24th at 1.30pm for a tour of the school.
