Executive Headteacher

We are recruiting a new Executive Headteacher!

Perseid is an outstanding school that serves outstanding young people. We are located in the London Borough of Merton. We offer young people aged 3-19, with severe and complex learning difficulties and learners with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical and sensory difficulties, an outstanding educational provision. Our mission is to inspire learning, through an enjoyable, interactive and creative curriculum and our staff are key in making this a reality. Our immediate future is exciting as we work in partnership with London Borough of Merton to extend our Primary campus taking our total roll close to 200 pupils.

We seek a creative and visionary professional who will build upon our successful history and ensure that pupils receive a bespoke experience that meets their needs under a broader philosophy of inclusion and community participation.

You will be an excellent strategic thinker, able to shape and influence the direction of our school. You will have a passion for working with our young people and a strong commitment to improving their life chances.

You will benefit from working with a highly competent team of teachers, support staff, therapists and a governing board who ably act as critical and supportive friends.
